This butter is whipped to perfection. It takes practically no effort to take a little bit from the jar because it’s so smooth. I’ve only used it on my hands so far and it’s not super greasy at all. I know it will spread easily and be lightweight on my fine hair. I’m also not a lavender fan at all, but the fragrance is a light lavender smell that is not off-putting. If it wasn’t currently sold out, I would get another jar. Highly recommend!

Sorry it took me so long to review. I bought this a few months ago and didn’t get to use it since my hair was braided. But I absolutely LOVE IT !! I’ve always loved using Shea butter in my hair but this Lavender Shea is on another level. I wish it was still coming in the 8oz but a little goes such a long way that the 4oz is a sufficient amount. Please never stop selling because I will continue to purchase!

Okay...this butter paired with the oil and the detangling brush is epic. The butter smells good just like the oil, it's light, it's airy, and my God, it melts like butter into my hair. I really love the thickness of this product! It is actually a whipped texture that melts in your hands. It worked well as a sealant for my twist out and kept my hair soft. I might have used too much because I did have a greasy feel, so a little goes a long way.
